Agent readiness methods · dated pilot protocol

Score the evidence. Keep the gaps.

The public report set currently contains one graded pilot and one explicitly ungraded evidence report.

Scope

The report set has one scored Egoist Machines pilot observed 2026-09-20–2026-09-21 UTC under its declared July 18, 2026 rubric and rules 1.1, plus one Dawn Industries public evidence report observed 2026-09-20–2026-09-21 UTC under applicability rules 1.2. Neither is a cohort prevalence estimate, and the 1,752-row native census remains a separate dataset.

How the graded score is calculated

The four dimensions carry fixed weights: SEO 40%, AEO 25%, agent 25%, and reliability 10%. A pass earns all of a check’s points, partial earns half, and fail earns none. N/A and owner-only rows are excluded from the applicable denominator; unknown remains unknown and blocks an ordinary final score. The Egoist pilot displays 85.1/100 under its preserved source export.

How the ungraded report is calculated

Dawn’s v4 export retains 87 statuses, observations, rule IDs, dates and public evidence links. Five applicable checks remain unknown: public input-error behavior plus TTFB, LCP, CLS and transfer/interaction performance. The public-safe measurement context links finite lab values, conditions, hashes and warnings, but does not turn diagnostic bands into formal pass/partial grades. Final score and rank remain null/false.

Applicability gates

  • N/A means the criterion is explicitly outside the observed public task or has no dependency object; it remains visible and is excluded from the denominator.
  • Owner-only is the public display label for not_publicly_verifiable: post-commit/private behavior may matter, but logged-out public audit could not verify it.
  • Unknown stays unknown. It is never turned into a fail, zero, partial quality claim, or absence claim.
  • A graded pilot requires a complete applicable ledger. The ungraded report publishes evidence without crossing its safe boundary.

Observation boundaries

  • Lab Lighthouse and Event Timing values are lab observations, not field Core Web Vitals or field INP.
  • Logged-out page reads, rendered accessibility checks, public documents and bounded handoffs remain separate from registration, invocation, task completion, repeat use, and adoption.
  • No login, form submission, purchase, tool execution, rate-limit bypass or security test was performed.
  • Egoist remains on its declared rules 1.1; Dawn uses applicability rules 1.2. The rule versions are not silently merged.

Versioned decision criteria

Read the base decision rules 1.1, the exact applicability supplement 1.2, and the 87-check rule map. The supplement preserves parent findings while excluding dependent tests with no object. Its SHA-256 is dd1043ad4d8726b0821c13a0e2a9f91abbf3c6287e36bef2c852fb03b107b5b9.
